One of our visiting teachers from Makuhari School, Ms. Feliciana—who is not only a teacher but also a dance instructor—taught our Lalaport kids some very funky hip-hop dance moves.
We could hear lots of giggles, and it was a fun change from our usual Morning Circle.
Here at Lalaport, our teachers take turns leading the daily Morning Circles. Everyone brings their own ideas and favorite songs to dance and sing with the kids. Morning Circles are an interactive and fun way to not only shake the sillies out but also to help children learn English vocabulary and improve their listening comprehension.
Summer School has been filled with many fun events, such as waterplay/cooking/crafts and many more exciting activities.
Water play is fun and exciting but we always have to try to be safe. We teach the kids the important safety rules before going in the water.
Gyoza Pizza Party!
The kids were so excited to make their own little Hawaiian pizzas. We definitely recommend trying them out—they’re simple to make and the kids absolutely love them!
All you need are a few basic ingredients: gyoza wraps, tomato sauce, cheese, and ham. Throw some pineapple on top, bake them up, and enjoy them together with your kids and family!
