Hello from our staff
2025.08.13

This time we would like to introduce our Pre-School and K2 teachers.

Hi! I’m Baptiste, proud teacher of the preschool class!
I’m a 30-year-old Frenchman, and I’ve been living in Japan for two years now. I chose Japan because I fell in love with its wonderful culture a long time ago. I’m fascinated by the perfect mix of modernity and tradition you can find here.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked in social real estate, helping people find a decent place to live. But I wanted to go one step further—by supporting the next generation as they grow and develop. Choosing this path has been one of the happiest decisions of my life!

In preschool, we learn while having fun through coloring, role play, storytelling, and games! Children learn and remember so much more when they’re enjoying what they’re doing. We also spend plenty of time at the park and go on walks to discover wonderful things, which helps develop their physical abilities. Plus, we make tons of crafts to spark creativity and a love for art.

This year, we’ll grow together—in the happiest way possible!

Hello my name is Darryl and I’m the K2 Class Teacher here at Lalaport School. I’m a Licensed Professional Nurse and an Educator. During my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, billiards, surfing, snowboarding, hiking and playing the guitar. I love the summer and going to the beach just as much as I enjoy winter and spending time in the snowy mountains.

I’m passionate about creating a positive and nurturing learning environment where children can build strong foundational skills. As both an educator and a parent, I see myself as a second parent to my students. Someone who provides love, guidance, and support every step of the way. My goal is to make sure children come to school happy, leave happy and look forward to coming back each day with excitement.

At Lalaport, we take pride in offering a welcoming and engaging space that supports every child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Looking forward to a wonderful journey of learning and growth with all our little learners!
