Summer school programs provide an excellent opportunity for young children to engage
in fun and educational activities during their break from regular school. One such
captivating theme is the rainforest, which offers many exciting adventures and learning
experiences. The rainforest theme is aimed to engage kids in the wonders of nature while fostering
creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. Through various engaging activities, the
program sought to provide an educational experience that combined hands-on

Watermelon Smashing:
The children participated in a watermelon-smashing activity to kickstart the summer
school program. This activity aimed to provide a refreshing and enjoyable hands-on
experience to explore and enjoy the summer fruit and develop social interactions.
Giant Bubbles
We made giant bubbles to develop curiosity and love for scientific exploration.
Everyone was captivated and enjoyed being inside the giant bubble.
Playdough and Soap Making:

Handmade Ice Cream:
The summer school program also included a delightful session on making handmade

Jungle games:
Jungle games such as Pin the Tail, Feed the Crocodile, and an Animal Scavenger Hunt added an element of excitement to our jungle adventure.
Field Trip to the Planetarium:
The planetarium is a great place to learn about and experience the wonders of space. The
kids had the opportunity to see a realistic simulation of stars, planets, and galaxies, and
learn more about our vast universe.
Shaved Ice
The shaved ice provided a refreshing break from the summer heat.
The kids thoroughly enjoyed their favorite flavored syrups and relished the opportunity to
create their own unique treats.
Pineapple Pināta Birthday Party:
A pineapple pināta birthday party was organized to conclude the summer school
program. This celebration marked the end of a memorable journey and reinforced the
importance of teamwork, sharing, and celebrating diversity. The children enjoyed
breaking the pināta, symbolizing the joy and rewards of exploring and appreciating the
rainforest.
