Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
It is coming to the end of 2023. What a wonderful year it has been!
December has been a very eventful month in preperation for the Winter Show and Christmas.
We spent some time decorating our school, singing and dancing for the Winter Show, enjoying music from students attending a local internatinal school, eating and enjoying special food cooked by our wonderful chefs Miyuki sensei and Sana sensei. We even had a VERY special visit from Santa Claus who handed out some gifts to all the good girls and boys.
We spent the start of the month decorating our Little Garden school and Christmas tree which the children enjoyed very much.

The kids from the local international school were very talented and played a variety of instruments. They played Christmas songs on violin, cello and piano.
Our Winter Show was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who helped make sure your child was appropriatly dressed in costume and helping out by practicing the songs and dances at home.
Many of you took pictures during the concert so here is a little behind the scenes image as we were getting ready.
It was really exciting having Santa Claus come to our school. He was very kind to the children and answered many questions the kids asked him. We discovered his favorite cookie is gingerbread, he likes chocolate milk, he gives carrots to his reindeer and he LOVES children. He handed out presents to each child and there were many many smiles and happy faces around the room. Thank you Santa!

Our Christmas day festivities continued throughout lunch with a special Christmas feast for the kids to enjoy. For the kids who took a nap, Miyuki sensei and Sana sensei prepared some delicious pancakes decorated especially for Christmas.
